im wanting to get one, however i would like to know how much others paied for tehm, so i can get a general idea for a price. I have had 2 kids by c section, and ive been working had on gettign my body back but i have this small area at the bottom of my stomach that wont go away!

I have been working out for well over a year and lost mos of the weight around allof my body, but I still have a saggy stomach. My doctor says it’m pretty much stuck with it as it’s in the genes and it’s now more skin than anything. He sugested getting it removed by a plastic surgeon. Have any of you done this? How much does it cost? Does insurance ever help out in cost (particularly military tricare)

I am 20 years old, I just had a cancerous tumor removed from my left ovary, as well as my ovary, this past January. As a result, I am left with a 7 inch scar across my lower abdomen, just before my bikini line. My stomach now has a little pouch on my lower abdomen because the muscles have been cut. I work out, exercise, diet, I ride my horse every day (which uses your core muscles) and do barn chores etc….I’m a very active person…and I work on my stomach EVERY night…but this pouch isn’t going away. I am extremely self conscious now…and I’ve cried long enough about it. I have become withdrawn from social events. I am envious of other women with their flat stomachs–the way I used to be….I’m just so depressed and angry that I have to look this way. Please make no reference about “I’m lucky to be here and a scar is a small price to pay for cancer” I already know this, and appreciate life so much, but now I’m left with a body I hardly recognize. Is a Tummy Tuck for me?

I recently been doctors and complained over my stomach as I got loose excess skin on my tummy since I gave birth to my child and it really is effecting me mentally as I’m constantly stressing over it. He referred me to plastic surgeon on the NHS who I have an appointment with in a few weeks time. I was wondering if it was possible I could also get my boobs done too as they are also stressing me out. Since I had my child they have become loose, deflated and droopy. I was thinking of going back to my doctors and asking if it possible I could get boobs done aswell but im scared my doctors might turn me away and I will lose my chance of getting a free tummy tuck. I don’t want him to think i’m trying get a free boob job or anything coz im really not. I just want my body to be back the way it was before I had my baby and really am going crazy over it. It all I think about it and I cry all the time over it. I don’t think I can ever carry on with life as normal if I don’t get it done. I feel like I have to get it done. I can just not get let it go and not think about it. Believe me I have tried and just can’t. It effecting my daily life. Do you think I should take the risk and ask him? Getting referred for a tummy tuck was surprisingly easy. What do you think my chances are that I could get a boob job aswell? I can’t afford it. Don’t you think I would do that if I could. The only way I can get it done is through the NHS. And if other women choose to live with there bodies like that than more power to them that is there choice but I can’t it affecting me mentally too much and I NEED to have it done.
